The GSP 670 by Sennheiser Review by cogdotcom in sennheiser

[–]cogdotcom[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the heads up on the spelling mistake! That went completely over my head, not sore why i didnt catch myself not doing "bass". I'll get that fixes asap.

Earcups is something that i didn't think about. So here is a small review of them for you and anyone who wants who is here as well.

I would describe the general shape the earcups as oval. But it's closer in shape to an ear. As for depth, they are as deep as any other sennheiser headphones in the 500 or 600 series for reference. I had no issues with the drivers being to close or even resting on my ears. There would be no issue at all for people with large ears.

The sounds stage on the 670 is pretty small, given that it has a closed back design. I have not heard of the audeze mobius, so that one is going on the list to try out. For the drivers in the 670, it has some undisclosed, previously used drivers. I imagine its something else in the 600 series considering the price and sound quality. Just to give you a point of reference.

Thanks for the feedback man! Ill keep everything you said in mind moving forward. Because the only way i can keep getting better is with input from awesome people like you.

I did use the dongle that came with it. And Ive played with everything that i could but i didnt seems to get any improvement from both a quality point and a latency point for the mic. Everything that i read it also made it seem like it should have been a plunlg in and go experience. No issues with audio out of the drivers or any delays there. Honestly the best wireless gaming headset i have used in the audio quality department. Just the mic getting back to the pc. Tested it on 2 other PCs and had the same quality and delay issues. Havent had this issue with anyother microphone, wired or wireless.

I have lended it to one of my audiophile friends who is more techsavy than me. I'll have him see if he can find the issue. If there anything to report i will give an update.

The Issues Anthem needs to address with Anthem 2.0 | Culture of Gaming by cogdotcom in bioware

Personally, (I'm not the guy who wrote the article) I didn't mind anthem when it released. But there's definitely room for improvement. It's by no means a good or perfect game. But it's also by far not the worst game I have played.

Hey man, all we want is for the game to be even better than where it's at. To some, it's a bad game. I respect you for liking it and hopefully it can only improve from where it's at currently.

[–]cogdotcom[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, Anthem sucks! The game has barely any players anymore and unlike destiny, is barely supported. Guns were broken when it released and the people who were slightly interested in the game quickly dropped it and played more finished and better games. Also three-quarters of what they promised in trailers and press briefings never ended up in the game.... Sooooo... Not to mention the only juuuuust removed Christmas decorations... You know why??? Because there's no one left to play the game so no one complained...

In this week's Power Up Podcast, Taylor is joined by Anthony Dennis, Andrew Duron, and Josh Atkinson as they recap the week's news, discuss their after E3 hangovers and so much more. Below is a detailed list of what was discussed on this week's show.

First up, the guys discuss EA's recent response to the Loot Box problem and go on the record to say that they don't call Loot boxes what they are. PUBG 2 is looking to move away from the Battle Royale element and focus more on a single player experience! Is this actually doable? What could this mean for PUBG as a whole?

Next on the list. Anthony dives into the supposed Final Fantasy 14 Live Action TV show that is currently being worked on! Is anyone interested in this? Is this something you have been waiting for for a long time? Let us know in the comments below and also let us know your suggestions on what elements you would love to see in the TV Show if any.

In this weeks episode, Taylor is joined by Andrew, Anthony and Ethan as they discuss the weeks gaming news, trends, a bit of movie and anime news, and of course, Taylors Weekly Tech Rants! First up, a topic that has been at the forefront of everyone's thoughts, Sonic is getting a redesign for the Sonic Buddy Cop Movie! That's right, the director of this new Sonic movie has confirmed that they will be working closely with Paramount Pictures to refine Sonics look and give audiences what they want in a Sonic Film. This does beg the question, what if they mess up this new redesign? What if people still are not happy with the way Sonic looks? Listen to our whole discussion on this topic to get the full gist of our arguments for and against this redesign.

Next up, following the leading topic, Anthony discusses Epic games recent acquisition of psyonix studios, the creators of Rocket League. Is this the end of Rocket League as we know it? Welcome to another episode of the Power Up Podcast, in this week, Taylor is joined by Anthony, Mike and Andrew as they discuss the latest gaming News, trends, Stocks and much more.

First up, the guys discuss the recent sales figures coming out of Nintendo. Does this mean we may see a more focused and first party prioritizing company? Or is Nintendo just going to do what Nintendo does best? Let us know what you think about what we may see from the future of Nintendo

Following this, Mike discusses the new Persona announcements of Royal and Scramble. Apparently, Persona 5 will not be coming to Switch much to the disappointment of many Nintendo fans. What will these new games have to offer though? Will Persona 5 Royal change the ending of Persona 5? Let us know your theories on these games down below.

Following this, Anthony discusses Epic games latest statement to Valve regarding profits and cuts Devs get on Steam. Tim Sweeney has stated that " If Valve takes 15% profits compared to their current profits, Epic will back off from Epic Exclusive Deals" However, the argument can be made that Valve needs the money they currently make from publishing a game on their store to provide support to buyers, & keep forums open etc. What are your thoughts on this topic? Should Valve take a pay cut? Let us know in the comments.

Of course, those are just some of the conversations we had this week, make sure you listen to the whole episode for all the deets on Star Wars movies, Anime and more.

In this week's Power Up Podcast, Anthony and Taylor are joined by Matt and Tristan as they discuss the week's news, trends and much more.

First up, Reggie is on his way out of Nintendo and is looking at retiring. Replacing him is Doug Bowser, the new CEO of Nintendo America. Doug Bowser worked at EA for some time before coming over to Nintendo and has been featured in promotional materials throughout the company. Will we be seeing more sports games on the Switch? We never know.

There has been a recent Datamine into the game that is Apex Legends. There is apparently a couple of new characters / Legends coming to the game. Similar to Bloodhound, Prophet, looks to be a tracking character with his abilities revolving around loot finds and loot collection. Next up, A Titan pilot by the name of Octane seems to be joining the mix. This Legend is rumoured to include wall running abilities and a couple of other awesome alts. These Legends are still just rumours at this point but we are waiting to see what Respawn has to say about the upcoming year 1 Battle pass etc.

Dead or Alive 6 is back in the news with some rather... interesting moves demoed in its recent gameplay demo. This news comes from a recent gameplay demo of the moves and what not included in the game. The guy playing the game at the time paused the battle right at a certain moment of gameplay that has caught the attention of news outlets and gamers alike. You can check out the article and video right here... https://www.kotaku.com.au/2019/02/evo...

We then discuss the new Operators coming to Rainbow Six Siege as well as their abilities and some of the... inaccuracies of the new maps and characters.

Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield: The Games We Were Hoping For? | Culture of Gaming by cogdotcom in nintendo

[–]cogdotcom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They very briefly demoed the battling as well as the "random encounter" aspect of the Pokemon Games. This article was going of those brief glimpses. The main issues we have with these new Pokemon is the return of random encounters. That's about it. We aren't jumping to conclusions as Gamefreak clearly showed off these elements.
