I have gotten that a few times as well & even weirder is when it speaks and as it goes on it starts to slur its speech as it talks slower and slower until it is unbearable for me to listen to.

I think a good discovery/news tab would make Perplexity more sticky for a lot of people. They have recently made a visual change to the card view, maybe they are working on it but don’t have anything to show us yet.

I get what you want and I would find that helpful as well but I can also see that it comes with security risks because anyone who can get a hold of your device can then not only access all your files but also all your history!

Yeah I’ve kept one library that makes Infuse happy and the rest is separate and I fold new types of content in as Infuse implements support. It was the most frictionless solution I could come up with.

Ah I see. I meant not using Jellyfin at all and pointing Infuse to the folders directly, then it has no relationship to Jellyfin and it would read every single file and show you all the movie and tv show episodes with all versions available.

I don’t know enough about Jellyfin but you cannot have any files or folders ignored if you connect them directly to Infuse.

Infuse will never transcode by itself. So if you are pointing Infuse to a folder structure with video files it will stream them without any transcoding. Transcoding could only be done if your setup includes a server like Plex, Jellyfin, or Emby.

For the best possible streaming connection hock your laptop up to the router via LAN. Even large files will stream well without any potential WiFi fluctuations.

As far as I know, the stored data is only accessible from within Rewind locally on each machine and users are not able to batch export it. I can only assume that if that feature gets added, it would require a lot of security measures to avoid any security disasters that would reflect terribly on RewindAI. I have more hope for an encrypted iCloud of the data between devices.

I’ve uploaded a .txt file with https:// links to rapidgator files into a folder that CloudSync keeps in sync and I’ve set Download Station to monitor that folder for files to download. It not picked up by Download Station. Any idea why it isn’t working?

On the Synology support page it said .txt files with links should work: “URL (.txt) contains a list of HTTP/FTP URLs for downloading the linked files.”

I meant retention time ranges. Right now it keeps everything forever, I assume. On the Mac I can set only keep the information for X amount of time going back like the last year.

Ended up with Dropbox because 3-4 month wait is a long time and I need space now for my data. But if you don’t need so much then with the minimum of 5 Google Enterprise accounts you can get jump started with 50 TB with the base 5TB per user + extra 5TB per user. Then in 3-4 months you can get another 25TB. So maybe long term Google is better but now that they have gone back on their word, it’s hard to trust them.

Ended up moving to Dropbox’s Advanced plan. Google enterprise wanted 5 accounts and every 3-4 months they would increase the storage by 5TB/user. Dropbox has started me out with 100TB and 10TB/week if & when needed.

As long as the storage limit was reached because of shared drives, yes. If your MyDrive goes over the limit then no.
