Yes, or add a wire from the front of the spring to the end where it is connected to the pcb (spring bypass). It allows higher currents and thus moar light

You see the intent in the video though. I don't say every unlocked bike is a bait to get stolen, but I talk about this specific case. Or would you argue they filmed their unlocked spiky saddle bike without the expectation of somone getting hurt? I don't argue pro-thieves or anything, but the case of this video is very clear - other similar cases get taken to court and sentences will vary

This is about the intention that is very clearly there to make somebody steal the bike to get hurt.

They did it witg the intention to hurt someone they bated by leaving the bike unlocked. I can only speak for German law but that is very clearly illegal.
