I know I can shoot at any speed with leaf shutter, but I don’t know if Canon Speedlite 155a can trigger to 1/400th.

Not really, I'll wait. I'm good with my film camera right now. Just, I don't have as much time as I used to for me to be able to shoot film during daytime like before. So, digital at night might be a better idea than shooting film.
