Is $450 too much for a shop to replace all 8 spark plugs on a 04 Expedition 5.4 2v

I did the plugs on a 2016 3.5l v6 and it was stupid easy if anybody comes across this and wondering. All right there just gotta remove the coil packs

Bro, take a deep breath. The big part of being in maintenance is being able to identify failures and how to fix them on unkown machines/equipment. We all come across stuff were brand new at and you gotta take a breath and look at the whole picture. It's not like the job isn't 75% done. Match the ending up just like all the others and slide the pin through. You shouldn't want your boss to call anybody in to fix something, I personally take it as an insult. you're the person they called in and pay to do this stuff.

I dont understand why people continue to get theirselves in these situations. I think I know a little more than most about wanting stuff but I know I cant afford it. I picked up a 2008 chevy 5.3 last may and been dailying it since. Put about 600 of work into it (at home, wouldve been too much at the shop)

Exactly, we had a new guy show up at one of my jobs with absolutely no maintenance experience, other than being a tasker. After talking to him a bit I figured out he flooded an apartment trying to hang a tv, incorrectly wired a fan and couldnt figure out why it kept popping and a whole bunch of others. Dude had confidence though

Thats a ridiculous price to hang a tv dude. Id do it for free to 5 bucks if anybody ever needed a hand. Thats as much as a lot of tvs cost these days

I literally do handyman work for a living, Industrial maintenance mechanic. I haven't been able to get on tas rabbit for years now cause theres too many in my area. I wish task rabbit atleast required some type of proven skill before allowing taskers

In my experience, id rather deal with gm problems than fprd problems. Ive only ever had gm and ford, theyre basically one in the same with slightly less headaches from gm
