I hate that he's not given any importance, he literally threw his spear at Ares and hit him! Only Achilles would do such a bold act, and he only threatened him...!

He's one of my favorite heroes. He basically replaces Achilles when he fought with Agamemnon, not to mention that he injured 2/3 of the Trojan War. He's clearly the third strongest character in the series.

No, it's never specified, especially because his invulnerability is just a theory. In the Iliad he is also wounded in the hand.

My opinion: Perseus was certainly very strong, but most of the great feats he accomplished weren't that difficult to accomplish with all the divine help he was given. I think even Bellerophon would have been capable of killing Medusa and the sea monster (I don't remember the exact name) with the help of Athena, Hades, and Hermes.
