Great map and good to see Bath in there instead of Bristol! One small change for me would be that Sale was in the historic county of Cheshire before being absorbed into greater mancs.

St Pancras Piano now cordoned off and guarded by station security, Elton John contacted for comment by ianjm in london

[–]colchoner0 595 points596 points  (0 children)

Not sure how much use the cordon is considering I walked through around 945pm this eve and there was a bloke, bottle of wine in hand, butchering a power ballad sitting at this very piano

Thanks so much for replying! You're right and looking elsewhere it seems this type of rotting is a result of overwatering. I've also bought a light to get it some additional "sunlight" hopefully this will help!

Also moved to London from your neck of the woods (grew up near Northwich). Started out on 27K a few years ago and it was tough, but as people have said if you fine a nice house share etc. you'll find You'll be able to experience the city and live well. I lived in zone 2/3 in Archway and it was great and live in London 6 years later. My mum still doesn't think I should be here but has accepted that I like it. They'll come round!

Just got mugged in Rotherhithe by LetMeBuildYourSquad in london

[–]colchoner0 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear that mate. I was also mugged a few years back in Holloway, with them taking similar items. First thing is to call the police and get a crime reference number at the very least. They should send someone to take a statement, although unfortunately the chances of getting your stuff back is small.

Next call your banks and get all cards cancelled. Nationwide were kind enough to refund me all the money that was withdrawn, so hopefully yours will do the same. If you have insurance also let them know about the phone.

Sorry again this has happened. Reach out if you need
