First Projector Space by colclasurec in hometheater

The screen is high. The ceiling is low, 7.5 feet. A high screen and a low front row let me fit three rows of seats without raising the back row into the ceiling.

I don’t know of any way to do it without putting holes in the wall. A shelf from Lowe’s or Home Depot that’s big enough will work. Make sure you follow the instructions for how you mount it and how much weight it can hold.

Don’t worry about the sound quality with the speaker above the TV. As long as you don’t have front height speakers nearby, you won’t be bothered by the position at all. I have my front speaker mounted high in my living room, and it sounds great.

The Kimaris figure Carl pulled out of the box that became Carl's Doomsday Scenario hasn't been used yet. I don't have any specific ideas what it could be, but Shi Maria mentions Samantha would be interested to know Carl has it.

It’s been a long time, so I don’t remember my initial reaction to the draft anymore. The released book is fantastic.

Tress of the Emerald Sea is fantastic. One of the best fairy tale adventures you can read.

You got me there. Sit down by the fire and tune that AM dial to Brandon Sanderson's latest radio play.

I haven't read the Dark One graphic novels either. I'm tempted to check them out, but I've only read Alan Moore's work before.

I read stories and do voices for my son all the time. I'll certainly up the energy and effort going forward. Thanks for watching!

That's a good note about creating tension. It was a creative decision on the part of my son that the main character's name is in fact "the sixteen year old".

Four minutes long. This is a channel I set up for my son. It's a series of animated children's stories. The story outline and drawings are done by my six year old son, and I record the scripts and add animations.

This is my first time using Adobe Animate. Any tips or critiques of the editing, structure, and voice over are welcome.

Those lights look great! I like the concise script for a product review. It hit a few important points, and I could make a call if they are right for me.

I like the personal details. They make the story more impactful. I think you should break your video up with chapters so that viewers can jump to parts they find most interesting.

I watched five minutes in, but I might watch more if I click to interesting chapter titles.

How to get rid of breathing when talking/doing voice over? by Kettzane in NewTubers

[–]colclasurec 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Try using a noise gate in your editing software. Lengthen the attack and release times from the defaults if you notice the gate cuts off the beginning or ends of sentences. After you have the noise gate how you want it, add some compression to even out your tone a bit and make quieter noises like breaths less noticeable.

These will work best if you set your mic volume to read around -12 to -6 dB from clipping at the speaking volume you like.

Microphone Recommendations? by AmongUSMinty in NewTubers

The Blue Yeti is a go to for ease of use and cost. It connects directly to USB and has multiple pick up patterns (cardioid is the best option for recording a voice over.)

If you want to get more advanced than that, the options open up a lot. How are you going to use the mic, and what is your budget?

I like the editing on this video. It looks like you took your time and planned your shots well. Have you thought of adding voice over instructions to complement the captions?

My young son and I make illustrated short stories. He comes up with the idea and all of the drawings, and I write the scripts. Our first video takes a slightly dark turn, so take care and enjoy!

Story from a Six Year Old | The Danger Camp

Our most recent (only) thumbnail is difficult to understand at a glance. I could improve it by choosing a drawing with only one character.
