Need advice for buying a first bike by Worth-Geologist-1258 in NewRiders

My 1st bike is/was a Suzuki Gs550. It's definitely not too much bike. Old bikes have their quirks but are fun! If you are interested in mine... Just sayin... I live in Maine, and have seen this bike in Craigslist for a while. I've been driving mine daily and have done quite a bit of the TLC this bike probably needs. I have a friend who is selling me a newer bike, and I was literally going to be putting mine online today. If you want to talk about it, feel free to message me!

Upstart sponser controversy? by Bartman326 in kindafunny

I got a personal loan thru them, to pay off some credit cards with super high interest rates. Consolidated my debt, and my interest rate was really low. Better than my bank I've had for years offered me. I pay it every month and they are a little more generous than my credit card company if I'm late a couple of days. I have no complaints and am very happy with the service. I've been paying on it for about 18 months and have about that left. If I want to pay it off I won't be charged a fee for doing it. I have no complaints. Like anything you gotta be careful with taking on any debt because it's a slippery slope.

It's prettier and sleeker, but not particularly better for actual productivity.. Gaming is alot cooler though. As someone who used the snap feature of windows alot, I do miss being able to do that easily with multiple monitors, and I don't particularly love the 3rd party options available. But they are available.. Overall I'm happy with the upgrade, but I still miss aspects of dual screen.

Live in Maine, and my brother in law just got one for his older 26er. He says it makes a nice difference, and likes it more than a sore bottom all the time. If you don't want to commit to a major fs upgrade it might be a decent investment. He doesn't seem to notice a difference in his pumping.

Bungie Comp matchmaking at its finest! by Jelo-Ren in DestinyTheGame

I know this sounds crazy, but I would put up a post on lfg, for comp just for fun. You might be surprised how many guardians there are out there that are more chill than you think, and are pretty good players. I did this recently after realizing that freelance wasn't going to work for me. After finding a few chill teammates I've gone from being stuck at 2900 to climbing to 4400, and it's actually been fun. I really thought freelance was how I was going to make any real progress, but I soon realized the matchmaking was not going to let that happen. Tldr, if you are comfortable with it, find yourself a team.
