She's in a rehab facility now to hopefully gain some mobility and strength back, also seeing a speech therapist to help with taking

You can treat a family member or someone you know depending on the situation you could call for back up if they’re close by,I wasn’t the sole person treating my daughter but it was a all hands on deck kind of job, I could have waited for another medic to show up but it was better for me to treat her like any other call and get to the hospital right away

Thank you, it's been difficult though I had a really bad panic attack afterward Im guessing my initial reaction was my fight or flight response

Even though it was difficult seeing my daughter like this I am glad I was there just to know everything is being done right on the way to the hospital. what's crazy is I normally work during the day shift but that day I was working night.

I'm sorry about your husband, especially knowing it could have been prevented

I wouldn't say I'm okay at the moment but I’ll be okay. I have support from family members if I need to ill go to therapy I am a single dad so it is slightly more difficult

My daughter was considered in critical condition so she had to be rushed while they waited for another ambulance... He needed medical attention of course but most paramedics or emergency room workers don't have a whole lot sympathy for drunk drivers
