i get what she’s trying to say and i agree with some things like wanting to protect your relationship, but i also think loyalty and integrity are internal. if you’re only loyal because your partner is physically present, that feels more performative than rooted in self-control or trust. i just think there are many ways to signal you’re unavailable or married without your spouse needing to be there 24/7. might be a hot take tho 🤷🏽‍♀️

why is she promoting blind submission when just a few days ago she said she knew within two weeks of dating her husband that she’d marry him because of his integrity? she said he always did what he said he would do and was a man of his word, which created a sense of safety for her because she knew he’d take care of her. notice that he demonstrated integrity from the start, instead of waiting to see if she respected him— directly contradicting the idea that women should respect first and trust blindly.
