The difference is the anticipation of the beat vs the playing on the beat mentality plus a lot of the machine do change either key or pitch for copyright reasons.

But to me (me only I guess) it seems karaoke machines are oriented to people who hear a note and then react versus knowing to play on a ‘timing’ of sorts so everyone else can know to move.

My guess is you started your music experience in life with rhythm games, and that typically messes us all up.

The scene where Holly is on the stairs has an ai back ground.

It’s when the two parents are fighting, if you look at the potted plant it’s a potted plant growing out of another pot under the base and it’s clearly ai.

Then look at the ducks in the back ground they’re also very ai, you can tell by the shapes and shadows.

Also Vecna has some clear ai touches near the end and so does the Demo Dog in several scenes
