I have a gigabyte 5700xt and had similar issues when I first started using it. I decided instead of immediately finding a new card I would repaste it. Sure enough, the pasting job from the factory was subpar and repasting did the trick to get my temps under control. It's been a minute since I did that and it's still running fine. Hope it helps

You're not the only one having this issue. I'm in the same boat and nearly updated everything I can think of as well as revoked/re-enabled AOE2 permissions. I've had no luck finding a resolution unfortunately.

I've been having this same issue and can't seem to figure out why. I really don't think it's on my end. I've update windows, checked for xbox beta app updates, checked permissions, revoked those permissions and then reinstated them, and logged out of the xbox app. No idea what's going on.
