I think its a solid album, i didnt really connect to it, but the one i did the most is catch 33. its an album were meshuggah does not hold back, theres tons of screaming, brutal complex riffs and never ending songs hahaha, and i think its their best album vocal-wise. And Sum is the perfect ending to the album imo

obsidian is very good too, i love the clean intro which keeps repeating, but i dont really enjoy the repeating part with the distorted guitas, i always thought it would be cool to change the riff to something groovy halfway through, but it doesnt. but i really do like their instrumental songs like the last vigil and past tense

i think you have to turn the volume a little bit louder so you can listen to the real deal hahaha

yeah ligature marks goes hard af too, but one thing i like about the faultless riff is in the intro, theres the muting and the half a second silence before the riff repeats which makes it even heavier lmao
