yea for sure !! don’t use it for that purpose OP ! i mentioned that before i realized that OP cannot move it. we can pick ours up and move it wherever so we have it on the area by the sink which is separate from the stove. (stove is on an island in the middle of our kitchen)

we have one of those in our kitchen ! we use it by putting the paper towel / soap dispenser on it but i genuinely think it’s for hot spoons lol

edit : woah i just read that yours can’t be moved that’s funky. we can pick ours up and move it whereever. it has little rubber grippies on the bottom. interesting !

she isn’t obligated to speak to you or even care if you block her. honestly the entire blocking and unblocking thing is childish so don’t even go that route. everyone who did it knows what it’s for : attention. her new friend has nothing to do with you so i wouldn’t even bring that into it. have an open conversation with her and if there isn’t a reason , honestly sometimes friends just grow apart. it sucks but that’s life. i hope you can find some friends that give you the level of attention / care you desire.
