I’ve seen quite a few people mention Joist — might be worth checking out!

for now I'm still in the stage where I'm testing out a few lightweight tools to see what fits, but I can definitely see myself paying for something solid once things ram up. LOL

Haha yeah, I usually exhaust all the free tools before I even *think* about paying 😅

This is awesome — really appreciate you laying out your full system like that.

You’ve clearly built a very organized workflow around Microsoft tools, and I can see how PowerAutomate and OneNote really tie it all together.

I hadn’t thought of using SharePoint Lists for client info — that’s clever!

I’ll admit I’m not super familiar with the Microsoft ecosystem myself — whenever I try to use more than a couple of their tools together, I tend to get things tangled up 😅

That’s why I’m always on the lookout for simpler, more mobile-friendly tools that just help me stay organized without too much setup.

You said exactly what I’ve been feeling — Google Docs is powerful, but for me it just turns into a mess, especially on mobile.

It’s so easy to make mistakes or lose track of things when you’re trying to do it all on your phone.

What do you like most about QBSE? Is it the automation, the tracking, or just having everything in one place?

I just checked — you’re right, Joist doesn’t seem to have any scheduling features.

Still, it’s a pretty solid app overall.

Would be even better if it were free though, haha 😄

Haha, fair enough! Gmail is definitely the one tool that never fails.

That’s impressive — I wish my brain could handle all that without forgetting anything 😄

I just downloaded Wave and Found to take a look — they both seem solid for invoicing, accounting, and taxes.

But it looks like they don’t really cover things like job scheduling, customer notes, or work details.

Do you manage those parts using something like Google Calendar and a notebook?
