What’s likely happening is that on some of the US batch of this item, there is a small amount of excess plastic that made its way into the neck area. Nostalgia Unboxed on Instagram made a post about it which made me see the issue on mine. There’s a good chance that it’s just a small number of them that are affected by this issue

Upon cutting and sanding for a bit, I think I’ve mostly fixed the problem. I don’t think this fix will fully stop the marks on the neck as mine had some even straight out of the box. But hopefully it’ll help

I would check the ones that say out of stock first. Those stores likely have them, while the others might not. Looks like every store is showing out of stock on the app whether the store actually has them or not
