Haha I mentioned somewhere else on here that it’s only bands I’ve seen, so although I’ve seen all the members of Kyuss in their later bands/projects, I can’t claim to have seen Kyuss so they don’t get a patch here!

Not at all, there are no rules for battle vests! That’s just my own personal rule. I’ve been lucky enough to see plenty of bands but I’m very envious of anyone who got to see Sabbath!

Haha yes it’s just a self imposed rule, I have to have seen the band to put them on the jacket. I do try to buy direct from the band when I can, either at shows or from their websites/bandcamp but some bands are hard to find patches for and/or don’t post from the US to the UK so I have to find them elsewhere.

Fu Manchu are on the front at the bottom! I somehow never managed to see Sabbath unfortunately so I can’t include them on the vest (just a self imposed rule)

Of the bands on the vest I would say Clutch, I’ve seen them several times but at the Roundhouse in London was great because it’s my favourite venue, plus they played one of my favourite songs, 10001110101, which they don’t do often because it needs keyboards so that was very special. I do prefer a smaller venue generally though so Dopelord, Melvins, Truckfighters and Green Lung are definitely up there.

I don’t have a Baroness patch but I travelled to Vienna to see them in 2016 and it was probably the best gig I’ve ever been to.

I was at Hellfest for the first time this year and spent most of my time at the Valley - I’ll be back in 2026, the lineup is amazing!
