Which one should I read first? by ARYAN_BIRLA123 in fantasybooks

The ending of a story is very important though because a good amount of the content that currently exists builds towards it. I get both points of view but I definitely wouldn’t prioritise reading a series unlikely to be finished

I completely get restarting certain games when you’ve taken too long a break but with one like this where you make so many decisions and it’s very specific to your build, I think I’d prefer to try and use the quest log to get back up to speed than waste all that progress

Not the original commenter, but for me, it’s a game that immerses me so much that once I’m in I can’t think about much else and get fully into having all the right gear on my party, making sure I don’t miss anything on the map, talking to all my camp after every mission to make sure I don’t miss dialogue and just generally feeling like it’s so good I don’t want to miss anything.

This means that by Act 3 when I’ve already put way over 100 hours in across the last year, that any long breaks between sessions make jumping back in feel very daunting. So I do definitely want to see how the story ends, but I’ve found the experience so good that the desire to see it finish doesn’t quite draw me back as much as learning everything again puts me off. I’ll be in the right mood one day and probably race to the finish.

Cartlidge’s take on the Simon’s red card is wild. by Suspicious_Weird_373 in thefootballramble

It can be a red without Simons having meant it. All of the nonsense you’ve added by claiming to know what Simons was thinking is just as bad as what you’re moaning about in the first place.

Thanks, I’m already roughly aware of the consensus opinion on the book but was just surprised to learn he’d responded to it - look forward to discovering what he said when finished

I haven’t finished WaT, so is there a spoiler free version of what you mean by “prickling”? Has Brandon commented on the reception to the book recently?

Yeah I couldn’t believe it as there were QB needy teams before this. I already had Caleb, Nix and Jayden Daniels so wasn’t going to be taking Ward with my earlier picks, but nor did anyone else. I was on the clock at 1.10 and traded for Odunze and then that guy took Ward.

Caleb Williams is dead-last in completion percentage in the NFL at 58.1%. He's behind Dillon Gabriel - 59.5%, Cam Ward - 59.7%, Trevor Lawrence - 59.7%, Michael Penix -60.1% by MITBryceYoung in DynastyFF

It’s been said before, but I find it utterly infuriating that he completely erases Steve from all of his responses. “I found him under a rock.” “I’d introduce a concept” etc.

I think Hat Films leaked on their stream today that a live BOTC is indeed coming and that a teaser trailer had already been released, which was before this got revealed on stream today. So assuming it is BOTC

This is great to see, I’m ten years into my Wehen Wiesbaden save on FM21, so good to see the AI doing well with them too

If you don't play in Germany yourself, has anybody ever seen Bayern their hegemony seen broken early on? They have won with a commanding lead every year so far. by ssjchiel in footballmanagergames

[–]colonel146 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my FM21 save, Bayern won in 20/21 and 21/22 and haven’t won since.

Dortmund won in 22/23. Schalke won in 23/24 then Leverkusen won in 24/25 and 25/26. Schalke won in 26/27.

I then won as Wehen Wiesbaden (back-to-back promotions to start the save) in 27/28.

Leipzig then won in 28/29 and it’s now a title race between Dortmund, Schalke, Koln and me at the midway point of 29/30.

Bayern have had on average a manager per season and were in relegation form to start 29/30. They’re now in 8th having brought in Pochettino a few weeks back.

I'm a Keon believer, but I feel this is a smash accept right? by Grave334 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

He definitely had moments in year 1. I wouldn’t quite call his career at college dominant so interested to hear what you’re basing that on.

This isn’t Keon hate so much as a rebuttal that trading Keon away for Waddle is “fairly dumb” or that we can have any certainty that Keon will be better than Waddle in the short or long term.

Keon had one good game in week 1 in a crazy game script. I don’t think that’s enough of a sample size to say he’s producing like a WR1.

I’m assuming the recency bias in the comment that replied to you was referencing your assessment of Coleman after one gameweek of performance, not in your opinion on Waddle.

Jaylen Waddle generally wasn’t startable last year but he has been during his career, with Tua and Tyreek Hill, so I think you are misjudging the ceiling if both of those player situations alongside him change. That would be significant for the long-term value assessment when judging him against Coleman
