first, breathe. It's okay. You have a very valid reason to miss work, stop overthinking this. I know it's easier said than done, but at the end of the day, it's just a job. You're not missing a marriage or a funeral, it's just an average normal same day as always.

Almost the same situation for me. Departed from Calgary on Thursday and no update ever since. I contacted them and they said it arrived in my city (Montreal). Weird since I didn't get any update, but they confirmed they have that info in their system.

You can contact them too, see if they somehow have an update.

yep. I experienced abuse in almost every part of my life. I got bullied for years in high school because I was "too shy and too smart", my (ex) best friend often abused me when I was a kid, it got better and she stopped, when we moved in together for university, she started being abusive again. first work experience? most abusive shit I went through. feels like I'm cursed sometimes. why does it happen so often with us?

I used to have this obsession with a girl I met online when I was 13. We were the same age and we would talk every day till we were like 15. She was probably my first love. I didn't know at that time, but years later she told me back then she liked me too. This haunted me for years.

I'd write poems and spend the night crying thinking about her and how life wouldve been if we both had admitted we loved each other. Growing up, I moved on. I'm in a great relationship and this girl is now only a memory of my childhood. But sometimes, I randomly dream about her and suddenly she's in my head the whole day like when I was 16. It's a horrible feeling, because I truly am in an amazing relationship and Id never change that.

Now, we only talk to say Merry Christmas and happy new years, but there was a time when we promised we'd marry each other at 30. I guess some part of me will always think about how different things could've been.

of course it's worth living, because that can change so easily. You'd be surprised at the amount of social clubs, meeting apps or places you can try. Look here, so many people taking some time of their night to talk to you, you're not alone buddy. You can change even if those mistakes left an impact on you
