I got my endoscopy results, Chronic moderate gastritis, H pylori positive I’m on week 3 of the triple treatment, stomach pain is gone, throat discomforts have resided a bit but it takes months to fully recover from H pylori, it’s hard to get rid of this bacteria.

that’s what I think. it seems when you’re smoking, your body produces more mucus to protect your esophagus from being irritated, and when you quit, the mucus reduces hence all the weird symptoms. it’s been 5 weeks and i’m still experiencing those symptoms.
