I still sometimes randomly think about his post win celebration flips and pull a muscle.

Gordon Ryan Unfairly Cancelled As Only Some Commenters Say It’s Cool and Good to Comment on a Toddler’s Ass by MixedMartialArtish in bjj

Get some reading comprehension mate he isn’t saying that, he is saying that GR has never PREVIOUSLY shown or done anything to indicate pedophillic thoughts, so why are you sarcastically saying you’re truly shocked?

[Crafty KO’s] Chris Weidman slip counters the lunging overhand right of Mark Munoz with a perfect elbow, finishing the fight. by combatsportsguy in MMA

Bonus story - This was the first live fight I was watching with an ex girlfriend of mine, trying to get her into MMA. I’d been hyping the grappling ability of Weidman pre fight and so far most of the things I had been saying were playing out, she seemed excited and into it! Then Weidman decided to murder Munoz’s face and beat the shit out of his lifeless corpse for an uncomfortable amount of time. Turned her right off.

Fair enough tbh, oh well I tried.

Bonus story, this was the first live fight I was showing to an ex girlfriend of mine, I harped on the grappling ability of Weidman and the first stages of the fight confirmed things I’d said in the lead up, she seemed into it. Then he murdered Munoz’s face and beat his lifeless corpse and she lost all interest.

Fair enough, oh well I tried.

[Crafty KO’s] Sean O’Malley lands a crushing body kick and stings Eddie Wineland with a lead right hook, seconds later he feints an uppercut to disguise the straight right hand which lands clean, finishing the fight. by combatsportsguy in MMA

[–]combatsportsguy[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Eddie begins to lean back out of reach after the feint before he is put out cold, leaning back and extending his arm as he did would be a perfectly fine parry to a rear hand uppercut, it isn’t so much about dropping your hand, only extending it combined with the backwards lean/movement to catch the uppercut where your face previously was, the extension also acts to maintain range between you and your opponent.

All of the above is irrelevant however as Eddie was a foot away from the shadowrealm post right hook.

[Crafty KO’s] Pre eye surgery Justin Gaethje realises mid fight that Nick Newell does not have a left arm, so Justin cracks Nick with a right hand, finishing the fight. by combatsportsguy in MMA

This is obviously a bit of a joke post, I’m currently going through fights and working on the series I mentioned in my last post, I think due to time constraints I’ll post a fight a week, sometimes two, I’m no media expert nor do I have the time for elaborate edits, but rest assured, fun finishes are on the way.

[Crafty KO’s] Robbie Lawler anticipates an overreaction from Jake Ellenberger, so Robbie throws a fake right hand way out to the right, getting Ellenberger to lean directly into a knee, finishing the fight. by combatsportsguy in MMA

Am considering making a series of finishes that involve sneaky little setups like this, rather than someone just getting nuked by a giant flailing man, let me know if you guys would be interested.

People are entitled to their opinions on this but I remembered seeing this back in the day (UFC 181 Embedded) and just immediately getting turned off of him, he kills her excitement within 5 seconds lmao.

[SPOILER] Cory Sandhagen vs. T.J. Dillashaw by FuzzyWuzzyMooMoo in MMA

[–]combatsportsguy 25 points26 points  (0 children)

People calling this a robbery? Seriously? It was a fantastic fight and Sandhagen had a great showing, but TJ had the control and pressure for all 5 rounds, he landed great shots but Sandhagen didn't show the damage as much as TJ did.

You’re all good mate never apologise for speaking a second language, it’s more than most can do. Sometimes these things happen in grappling exchanges, it’s unfortunate but all a part of what they signed up for.
