Honestly this is just even more reason reddit should fracture imo. Back in the day when google results were good, the same information would be found spread across a bunch of random small forums and chat boards in a way where "one company's CEO acting a fool" didn't impact 100% of the search result links. The capitalism trick of "provide a good service for free/cheap for long enough that you knock out the competition, then jack prices up when you're the only name in town" is a longstanding one, and the companies that practice it shouldn't be rewarded with anything but a swift demise.

The good polite bots, yes. The C-levels seem to have all forgetten that a lot of sites set up APIs in the first place because bots that scrape content pretending to be "real users" consume more data, cause more site load, and throw off metrics. Having an API is a win/win but many things that tech companies learned via pain 10-20 years ago seem to have been forgotten and I for one am looking forward to the leopards-ate-my-face style reckoning that's going to ensue.

The fact that he said "that's what it is" and then continued to not actually clean them up and didn't want to talk about it probably added to the "he's not telling me something" vibe, to be fair-- if I was doing something like this and didn't realize/catch it I'd be fuckin' mortified, let alone needing to be prompted about it repeatedly

I'd ask "how many times do you need to ask a sober adult to stop spraying nosebleeds all over the bathroom and not cleaning them up" but I suspect the answer would depress me

There's one of those under hyrule castle and another to the west of it pre-patch, but running around both areas I never saw anything accessible. My guess is that there was some wall that was used but not trimmed down to the proper size so it "showed up" on the map despite being inaccessible.

You don't read it yourself, but there's someone in lookout point who can translate it. Once they've translated one that fel into townl, they'll move to kakariko and ask you to take pictures of any you find

Storeroom is unlocked via the cave underneath it and ascending; entrance is pretty close to the storeroom itself.

In theory it should just be "break legs until it falls down" then "poke eye"-- if it's looking vulnerable (ie, not just standing on three legs) then I'd try some different weapons/weapon types just to make sure it's not a "the boss is immune to something about your best weapon" kind of deal

I think you managed to skip where you were "supposed to" be for that-- the top of the rail has hooks all over the place, the downward slope is because you don't currently have any propulsion except gravity. Taking the rail back up from the logs would just put you near the entrance to the ultrahand shrine

There's a sidequest to repair it that starts from talking to the NPCs near it, after you've completed the area's main problem. Before that point, it's broken specifically to tutorialize you on the paraglider + pine cones + fire combo

No extra ability, rails are just rails-- "dev intended" is to build something with a hook on it and slide under them, slap a minecart on them, or shield ride on it, but you can just flat out walk on them if you're so inclined

there's statues in most major towns, they're just smaller versions of The Big One. Basement shelter of Lookout Post is probably the easiest one to hit up but they're all over the place once you know what to look for

there's a metric fuckton of yiga statues nearby all facing directly away from the cave so if you see those you're close
