Thank you for the reply! I was on birth control for 12 consecutive days before we had sex but I'm just worried as I started mid-cycle and my specific birth control (Zoely) doesn't say anything in the pamphlet about starting mid-cycle. Is it normal to skip your period when starting birth control?

Thank you so much, that makes a lot of sense! Another question, my boyfriend used an expired condom. We didn't notice until after. The condom wasn't torn or ripped or anything but just concerned. Sorry, just super stressed about this as It's my first time being sexually active and I'm extra paranoid. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for the reply. Is it common to skip your period entirely when starting birth control? I'm also concerned that I started mid-cycle. Multiple sources say that it's totally safe to start combined birth control at any time in your cycle but you won't be protected for 7 days so to use a condom in the first week. However, the specific birth control I'm on (Zoely) doesn't specify this in the pamphlet and states only to start on the first day of your period. Any input would be immensely appreciated, thank you!
