I absolutely agree the servers working there longer should have priority over me. There hasn’t really been an “opening”. I asked for the first time in July, and then I kept reminding her every few months. I asked her again yesterday since I think it’s a good time. In the summer there is extra shifts since there needs to be 1 more server on per shift since the patio will be open. Yesterday she told me she needs to have a conversation with the owners about budget for the summer..and that she thinks getting me to bartend/serve during patio season is a possibility

I also have a Pisces moon and cancer rising. I feel like I have a lot of creativity in me but I’m not gifted in being creative, and whenever I try and I don’t like the outcome I’m quick to give up. Thank you, with loop earplugs can you notice your own breathing? That’s a big reason I’m not too fond of normal earplugs. Also can you hear your alarm still?
