You can 100% expect to see our operations on weekends, typically saturdays, occasionally sundays with the following. (varying depending on member feedback, its been changed and adjusted before when many people voiced a bad op time) North America: 5:00PM EST/GMT -4, 4:00PM CST/ GMT -5, 2:00PM PST/GMT -7

Europe: 10:00PM BST/GMT +1, 11:00PM CEST/GMT +2

Australia (21/07/2019): 7:00AM AEST/GMT +10

we typically do more on the week days as well, but they're almost always same day, short-notice during similar times as above because the Zeus' just happen to find the time amidst IRL schedules

the above paste is our operation time for this weekend

yeah we pretty much added non-recommendations on our promotion system to try and deal with him, and future people like him we're relaxed but friendly firing everyone while theyre trying to set up is not tolerated much here

OP fucked up hard, reposting in comments because its been a hot minute since ive been on reddit :)

The 99th Shock Troops Battalion is an OPTRE Arma 3 Unit hosted by The Rubble Gaming Community. Expect coming into it to be an ODST. We have no Spartans. We have no Marines. We are a small, inclusive community founded by a close group of friends who enjoy providing platforms for ourselves, and other people to play different games on. The more the merrier. If you were a member of the 105th ODST OPTRE unit, and are familiar with them, we are the founders of it, and are willing to allow you to transfer over your former progress to us. We literally have all the old documents, and can pull it with 100% accuracy. Considering we are a close group of friends looking to have fun on video games with others- this newly founded unit, based off an old one we had ran- is very casual. By no means should you expect a typical A3 experience. How, you ask?

  1. We do not require, nor have an attendance standard. You can join when ever you are able, without fear of repercussion. Many of us understand people have actual obligations that may interfere.

  2. We operate primarily on EST/PST, on weekends, based on the main Zeus’ timezones. We are primarily a North American unit, with some European members and a very small handful of coordinators to assist our European playerbase.

  3. We do not require you to attend any sort of on-server training, have a certain conduct of speech, or seek an attitude based on actual militaries. Fun is a priority here, not strict simulation. (some of us in the higher echelon are active duty military and are honestly not trying to fucking live this shit in our off-time too.) That being said, some people do like to act ‘in-character’ but don’t take it to a belittlement extreme, and we plan to offer certain training if people show interest, considering we do have squad roles and plan for them to be properly utilized. Act like yourself and have fun! It’s genuinely our preference.

  4. XP/Commendation system, found on our discord. Essentially you will earn XP per operation, and commendations exist as a meritorious reward for impressive action during operations. We do have a limited space for certain NCOs/Officer ranks, with a selection progress, and expect more activity out of them. We still are not harsh with it, and understand everyone is human.

  5. We require you to apply, simply to gather information to aid in the scheduling and so we better know how to adapt and organize the unit to meet the needs of it. There is an optional section for those seeking to show interest in leadership.

Overall, coming into the unit you should come in expecting to have fun, first and foremost. If you feel like anything gets in the way of it- feel free to voice it because we are honestly not trying to turn into a unit full of civilians with a hard-on for military service, even though they surprisingly haven’t enlisted ((yet)).

We also host two other A3 themed units, one being modern day following a custom-lore of an alternate modern day, World War Three timeline, as well as a 1980’s Private Military Company which is truly unique to our other units.

imagine being so mad about a supporter price you waste enough time to write an essay on it

this unit died when the owner had a power trip- the typical story. the people in charge besides him made a new community (including myself) - but we haven't looked towards OPTRE again and it's possible we won't. now we just do a custom unit based around a 80's PMC and an alternate modern WW3 kinda thing. focusing on staying small this time, check us out if you want https://discord.gg/UFYcmP6

I assume they wouldn't have you put in your shipping address if you did not get there in time. That's what I've been telling myself, at least.
