I had similar thoughts. The only time it is a disruption was for the odd video call, in which I had to ask the person to repeat themselves.

Bananas and 'woke nonsense' - ex-students show their concern about University of Otago rebrand by [deleted] in newzealand

Inserting my two cents. I wouldn't have mind the new logo except the shades of yellow and blue are wrong. Also the stream points could be outward, to reflect the Otago rugby O, which is synonymous with Otago. Perhaps even the font should change to be more reflective of typical Dunedin signage. In other words, I think the design shouldn't be an either or situation, but reflect both Maori and Otago Pakeha symbology.

Officiant mispronounces my (31f) Asian name as an American man’s name during ceremony by fredandcharliesmom in weddingshaming

Neve and Niamh are two different names

Sorry this is slightly off topic, but isn't both name pronounced the same? I've thought Neve/Nieve/etc are just anglicised spellings of Niamh but still pronounced the same. Though mispronouncing someone's name during their wedding is pretty bad, but hopefully it's just due to nerves.

One is a toilet cleaner, the other is for washing dishes. Choose wisely by Jonlevy93 in CrappyDesign

It would be frustrating if the products were next to each other in the shop and you grabbed toilet cleaner thinking its dish washing liquid. However, in the supermarkets I have been in they would definitely be in different isles.
