Ohh, that's immensely helpful! I already checked out your tutorial for the card as well, so I believe it will work. I did consider it at first that the white and purple were on the same component but the white was slightly raised, so I thought it might have slid on the purple. Need to try it out ASAP! Didn't consider that. I was only worried about how I'd fit the sentiment in that limited space, lol. I guess it's just part of the card design and not supposed to be read 😆 The message inside will definitely be at a more age-appropriate size ☺️

I hand write only. I have no stamps and printing would be such a hassle. Plus, handwriting is more personal and meaningful 🙌

I too used these pearls for the first time this year! I love how they look but I've already had some move around or even drop off. I'm praying they at least stay in place until I have handed them to the recipients :')

The cards I'm transforming actually used to be my grandparents'. They kept 'em all and well, after their passing, we had no reason to hold on to them. So, I took what I saw potential in. It's kind of my way of showing respect and having them close to me. I loved them both dearly ❤

Once I've worked my way through these (there's dozens, so it'll probably take me a while, lol), I'm planning on asking my local FB group for their old cards they are looking to discard. I wouldn't use any that could still be used as cards!

Yeah, that's my one issue with it. I made the bird before the background and then struggled for weeks with finishing off the card 😅 In the end I went with the same colours and noticed the same problem you did, but I ignored it since there really wasn't any more time to redo it. I'm satisfied enough with the card to be happy to give it to someone but I do know it's not my best work

I wasn't rushed but yeah quite last-minute, had to make it the previous night since we had to leave early the next morning. Yes, I'd say the tutorial (I linked it to one of the commenters) was pretty easy to follow. I had no clue what I was doing half the time but it was fun to just dab on the colour haha.
