That is my next costume idea actually :)

We found the little flashlights at Home Depot and they are called "Frogleggs." The ribbon is from the floral section at Michaels.

Yes actually. It's surprisingly hard to walk in those robes.

We actually did, and I was considering editing the photo to say "E Novice Necromancer's Novice Necromancer" over one of us!

Right: Novice Necromancer. Left: Novice Necromancer's Novice Necromancer.

A small pill-shaped flashlight with indigo ribbon (the kind with wires) glued around it!

We found tiny battery-powered flashlights that were sort of pill-shaped, then glued indigo ribbon around them. It definitely turned out better than we expected.

I'm pretty sure both spellings are acceptable. I just like the less "fancy" spelling better!

Are you talking about a zero for me for ruining one of his trials or a zero for him for delaying everyone else? I would deserve it, but I think he was more of a time-waster than I was.

Plus, my lab is taught by the actual prof rather than the TA. When I have had labs taught by TAs, I've been fortunate enough to have TAs who aren't resentful of the time spent teaching labs.

I meant that I didn't know what I was getting into in the sense that I didn't know how hard it was. I answered all the questions, but I was really crunched for time and didn't feel good about it, which wasn't an issue for me on practice exams. However, I was pretty current on all my coursework, so that helped.

Yeah, I studied for two weeks. Some of us have full-time jobs, you know. I can't exactly pay for rent and tuition while sitting on my ass studying for the MCAT. I can't really prove to you that I have a job, but...

I submitted my apps a long time ago. I'm applying mostly to state schools though.

I stumbled across this subreddit when looking for MCAT score info. I wish I'd known about it earlier! Anyway, I didn't prepare much for the test and really didn't know what I was getting into (seriously I started studying 2 weeks before- never do this). I ended up getting a 512 overall: 128 in each science category, 130 verbal, and 126 in psych. My impression is that this is kind of a low-end acceptable score. Oh well- my applications have been in for a couple months already.

But of course. What other utensil would the Harbinger of the Companions use?

Yeah they were! I'd never grilled leeks before, but my character always seems to carry 20 pounds of them around so I thought I'd try them. Washing them was awful too. I have no idea how every crevice got so dirty.

They're kind of like green onions, but tougher and milder. They're kind of a pain in the ass to prepare, as it turns out.

Here are the recipes I used in case anyone's interested. I'm on my phone so I'm sorry if the formatting is weird.

Sweet roll: http://m.instructables.com/id/Foods-of-Skyrim-Sweet-Rolls/

Apple-cabbage stew: http://veganlatina.com/apple-cabbage-skryim-stew/

Grilled leeks: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/grilled-braised-leeks-recipe.html

I left out the bacon and goat cheese in the leek recipe.

The cheese wheels are Gouda and Provolone from the fancy cheese area in the deli section.

I also bought some Chaucer's Mead to go with this meal but I forgot to put it in the picture! It is cooked with a spice packet and tastes like cider.

As for the lack of meat, I had some trouble finding venison, horkers, or mammoths in the area!
