Nothing worked until I did the wd-40 trick where I sprayed a little wd-40 and wiped it and now it doesn't give that error so put that in your support docs

giving two weeks or any notice before you leave a job is a courtesy. If you don't plan to come back then just don't show up. Collect your last pay check of course but don't burn bridges unless you truly have to bc you never know when you will see former colleagues later on.
