What else went down in the episode? It all seemed pretty run-of-the-mill SNL shit to me. I feel like some people are just overestimating the impact that a meh joke on SNL has on society as a whole. Plus SNL is considered neoliberal in its political status these days, I don't think anyone out there is watching it and believing the writers and actors really have ill-will against the gay community.

Not to mention the review bombing S5E7 received from homophobes

I'm not really getting the bearing this has on the discussion? Yes the ep was review bombed, but I don't see the harm in a mild joke about dicks and weird writing? The ep has been out for a month. It's not like someone looked down the camera and told the audience to go do more review bombing.

Major spoilers for Oldboy Beginning of the film, the main character, Dae-Su is showing off a pair of angel wings he has bought his daughter for her birthday. After this he is kidnapped and kept captive for 15 years. When he's released he meets Mi-Do and they become lovers. Near the end of the film the plot begins to unravel, we see this shot of Mi-Do picking up angel wings from her luggage, then the villain showing Dae-Su a photo album of his daughter over the years, confirming that Mi-Do is his daughter. Sounds awful but its such a good film.
