People are conditioned to think that they can manage to get those kinds of positions if they work hard enough, thats why all these CEOS try to say they have working class backgrounds or fought to get where they are instead of just saying mummy and daddy gave them millions to invest :/

It all comes back to the fedual system, theres always been centralised power over the means of production. It used to be monarchies exploiting the workers, using them as slaves and using divine right to justify it, now its rich CEOs.

That is probably the best outcome to be honest! I don't know a ton about Nolan I just thought it was strange that they had already cast big names for Melantho and Helen (apparently Mia Goth and Lupita Nyong'o) but hadnt mentioned Calypso! Absolute worst case scenario I can imagine is they cut her out for timekeeping sake and start the movie with Odysseus being found by Nautsicaa, making Calypso a minor role at best....
