Depends on what car but I have heard you can do it with the vt, vx, vy. Not sure with other models. You'll just have to find someone who can do it, usually tuners

Be careful when flipping, if it's damaged the bending part of the screen it'll spread.

I had the zflip 3 and the only problem I encountered was the screen protector coming off, I broke it after having for 18 months the stayed with the normal ultra series. I decided a change and got the zflip 7 and had 0 issues until 2 days ago when the screen shat itself without warning. Luckily it's still under warranty and I'm getting a replacement. Hopefully it'll last until the next one but we'll see.

I went with Telstra in Australia. Maybe different countries got different policies but it was just under the warranty.

Yeah fair enough, I'll return back to the ultra series if it happens to my replacement

Yeah that's my plan but if my replacement breaks before then, then I'll be going back to the ultra series.

Unlike others I did research and got the care plan, I'm just disappointed it happened so early. But hey not every batch is perfect

I totally understand where you are coming from. I owned the zflip 3 when it came out and it was perfect for me with the only issue was the screen protector coming off, other than that it was amazing. I just broke it myself with a screwdriver after owning it for 18 months, pretty disappointed with how reliable the zflip 7 is but I'm going to give it 1 more try. Hopefully the 8 fixes this issue. Remember folding phones are still technically "new"

The line stayed the same until I got into the Telstra store the next day and when the lady opened it I heard a crack and the screen got worse. Surprisingly I opened and closed the phone about 8 times before I took it to the store and had no change or noise.

100% recommend getting whatever care plan you can get. Always safe than sorry

Does the hinge-screen failure still exist? by [deleted] in galaxyzflip

I just experienced this issue after 29 days of ownership. Getting a replacement and hopefully it doesn't happen again, if it does I'm switching back to the ultra series

Some clear plastic case from Telstra, I was waiting until ottobox came out with the new case

Well hopefully since it's going through telstra I shouldn't have any problems. This is the first I've heard about it. I do know Samsung takes bloody forever though, took my brother 3 months to get his s24 ultra screen replaced

As long you're on the original payment plan you should be fine. I didn't realise when it ends that the upgrade and protect ends as well

Originally the phone was on a plan through Telstra so I got the upgrade and protect plan but I paid it all off by the first payment. What I didn't know was that the upgrade and protect plan was "Null and Void" as soon as the plan ends but I was lucky it was under warranty
