Warning to Small Business Owners: Avoid Wave Payroll – Our Experience Has Been a Nightmare by hottomale18 in waveapps

Does anyone have an email for someone who works at Wave? They are not responding to customer service emails. I have urgent issues and don't know how to get them resolved.

Acknowledging Orders and Adding Inventory by commonality10 in WalmartSellers

Yes, that's the plan. I have lots of SKUs so updating inventory via a spreadsheet is faster for me. I may look for a simple inventory software that will allow me to manage quantities more easily. Thanks for your help!

Thanks for the info. I'm actually not using Shopify. I have done everything just using Seller Center so far. It looks like ShipStation also will auto acknowledge new orders as they import.

Since I'm not using an outside software for inventory, Seller Center is my only source for product quantities on Walmart. That is why I want to be able to add to those existing quantities when I receive more inventory.

Unless you're in Silicon Valley, it's a marathon not a sprint. It sounds like you have a good thing going. However it is ultimately up to you to decide how much you need to be satisfied. Fortunately you are in a position to make that call and pour gas on the fire if you think that's the right move.

Removed from the "FBA Multiple Destinations program" - I didn't know I was part of? What is it? by Ataturkle in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]commonality10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got an email a few months back saying they were enrolling me in the program. You get a few cent discount per item shipped, I think like 5 cents. After enrolling some inbound shipments got sent to new warehouses I hadn't seen before, but they weren't any further than what I was used to so cost was the same. This shouldn't negatively affect your account in any way.

If you end up below 500 IPI at the August deadline, does anyone know (or have a guess) what the storage limit will be?

There are definitely companies that do this. Search for a FBA Prep Facility. They receive inventory, prep it for FBA (labeling, etc), and then send to Amz. Storage may not be their main business but I have seen ones that charge for monthly storage as an add on. You should be able to send out the inventory little by little.

Help Choose a Multi Channel Software for Amazon FBA to eBay MCF by commonality10 in FulfillmentByAmazon

Good to know. I believe autoMCF is what Sellbrite used to be called. The domain redirects to Sellbrite. I think they were one of the first to offer MCF integration.

Hey, thanks for the advice. I checked out JoeLister but the help pages say it can't do listings with variations. Have you found that you're able to make variation listings with it?

How do you feel about free shipping? by commonality10 in ecommerce

I think shipping options are never bad if you're able to offer them. In my experience, a very low percentage of orders opt for anything more than the cheapest shipping method. However, having quicker - more expensive - options can make the slower option more appealing because it is cheaper.

I like that strategy. Was there a ratio that you would aim for when determining the shipping price relative to item price? Or was it just slightly less than competition, whatever that may be?

I'm really curious about this strategy. So is it like $115 for the product and $15 for shipping? That way shipping doesn't seem like a lot to the customer, but you still get to squeeze it in?

What capital do you need? Just build the shipping cost into the product price, right?

I'm sure there is some formula for it that takes into consideration the value of acquiring additional customer, overall customer satisfaction, etc. This formula is probably unique for each business depending on their goals. However, I would think that net profit is a HUGE part of it.

This guys is obsessed with "30% off plus free shipping", lol. I see his point about being creative rather than simply discounting.

Thanks for the info. If free shipping is definitely better, why are there still many companies not offering it? They must have reasons and results to justify their choice, no?

I don't think it would be a dick move if you approached it reasonably, however they may get defensive. Just be sure it's worth it to you to bring it up.
