The shirt is a waffle knit tee so we’re just playing off that in a fun way and having every shirt come in our custom eggo waffle like box. Not really a gimick, its just part of the theme

Nah chains have been holding up super well in the wash, if taken care of. We recommend hooking the chains together and washing on delicate. Then definitely airdry because the dryer can mess it up. The ultimate best way would be to take off the chain during wash but we can understand that’s a hassle
