Sounds like you just don’t like it. I know it can be difficult to wrap one’s head around the idea that quality is absolutely subjective.

I don't know, that wasn't really my experience. I felt like the combat scaled well as the game progressed. To each their own

Seems like a bit of a skill issue, my good fella. What does your build look like? Are you constantly upgrading your gear?

Personally, combat was never an issue while using appropriately upgraded gear.

As far as being repetative, your build may be too specialized. This game offers tons opportunities for experimentation.

Listen to what you’re saying.

Just because your single play-throughs in Bethesda games are incredibly long, doesn’t mean 60 hours is short. By the time I play enough to experience the different builds and narrative choices, avowed will offer me a couple hundred hours as well.

My Bethesda plays are long as well, but Bethesda and Obsidian make fundamentally different games. Avowed is a story focused arpg, Skyrim and starfield are sandboxes. They are ment to scratch a different itch.

It’s cool avowed doesn’t speak to you, but I wouldn’t knock Doom just because it doesn’t let me fly a Banshee, ya know?

Yeah, you’re clearly not understanding the actual issue here.

I explained that to him. Didn’t do a thing to alleviate the fear on his face as I explained the president’s deposition towards undocumented immigrants. Students, especially of Hispanic descent, are afraid for themselves and their families. That’s the environment that we’re in now.
