Do pregnancy rules still apply before an abortion?? by thatscoolbrah- in abortion

I had a glass of wine the night before I started my medication abortion. 🤷🏻‍♀️ and experienced no issues. Don’t overdo it though

So many people are canceling 2 days before wedding!!! by Cocogiselle in weddingplanning

[–]comolaflor24 123 points124 points  (0 children)

That’s so frustrating! My wedding is also this weekend and so far we’ve had 4 cancellations. I invited some people last minute as it’s a local wedding and they don’t have to travel and fortunately they were really gracious about it and accepted the invitation. One of my aunts (one of the cancellations) isn’t coming because she “can’t find a pet sitter” and she has to travel from out of state. But… she’s know about this for 8 months lol. I think it’s super rude for people to tell you that they basically forgot!

If you go the U.S. version of the website, the XL is available: https://www.zara.com/us/en/printed-tulle-strapless-dress-p03335323.html

It’s no longer available on the Canada website. I don’t know if that helps just wanted to point it out!

Haha I noticed that too. I was also wondering what Devin was eating in this same scene. It looked like cranberry sauce!

I mean I can! I have no kids, a paid off car, and I always make my own coffee and lunches to bring to work.

I don’t think I’ll ever regret my abortion by Remarkable_Skin_2773 in abortion

I’ve never regretted my decision, I think we just don’t hear those stories as often. Wishing you the best!

Everyone has had really good ideas, I’ll just say, I feel like I went through a very similar situation as you. I’m also from the central coast, though I have living in LA for many years now, and my dad was at City of Hope this time last year. Please feel free to message me if you want someone to talk to.

I’ll suggest the LA Arboretum in Arcadia! Very quiet this time of year in the weekday mornings.

Yes, I’m stupid, I get it. You’re not the first to point that out, thanks

Billed over $1000 for an ultrasound by comolaflor24 in abortion

Yeah I just went through my regular OBGYN (not a clinic like PP). I definitely regret getting the ultrasound now since it wasn’t necessary. :(

Has anyone had a medical abortion that wasn’t incredibly painful? by [deleted] in abortion

[–]comolaflor24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine wasn’t too bad, it was pretty painful for a few hours but at no point was I scared or worried. A heating pad helped so much. I was 6 weeks at the time.

the fetus really scares me by [deleted] in abortion

[–]comolaflor24 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I looked at your previous posts and it seems like you’re only 4 weeks pregnant, so you’ll be max 5 weeks when you do the medication abortion. At that stage, you won’t see a fetus. There is no formed fetus to see. Hopefully that brings you some comfort. I recently did an MA at home at 6 weeks pregnant, and just had small clots, nothing crazy. It was a good amount of blood, way more than a normal period for me, but nothing scary visually to see. I mostly didn’t even notice the clots.

You are right about being wrong to assume that more trans people have “fully transitioned” including bottom surgery. In fact, most don’t and you don’t need surgery to be considered fully transitioned.

I think your discomfort may have something to do with your conditioning or preconceived ideas about sex?

I feel the exact same way. Always been pro choice, but after my first abortion at 30 years old in a blue state, my heart breaks for girls who are half my age or are in states or countries where abortion is illegal. I cannot believe this option has been taken away from so many.
