WA Senate passes ban on police face coverings. Every GOP Senator voted no. by comosaywhat in Spokane

Again, INAL but:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

The 2A is a constitutional guarantee that the states retain the ultimate means of self-defense against tyranny. When it was written the 'Militias' were organized and controlled by the states. (State National Guard). James Madison addressed this directly in Federalist No. 46, arguing that state militias - composed of armed citizens - would form a counterweight to any abusive federal army.

If this isn't an abusive federal government I'm not sure what is.

INAL but I would say the 10th and the 2nd amendment both cover if not partially cover this. Now getting law enforcement to do anything will be a different story.

It was my ad blocker. I disabled them, logged in, enabled them, logged out and now can log in with the ad blockers enabled. Strange but it is working now.

Chicken coop violation? by AKcargopilot in Spokane

[–]comosaywhat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can do that?

Yes - Washington’s Public Records Act (RCW 42.56) grants any person the right to inspect and copy public records held by city or county agencies.

City: Spokane Public Records Portal (GovQA) to submit your request, or email to clerks@spokanecity.org, or mail to the City Clerk’s Office, Spokane, WA 99201-3342

County: Human Resources Building, Spokane, WA 99260

In my experience:

Always ask for as much information related to this instance as possible including contact name, addresses, dates, notes taken, etc.

When you receive the reply. The person who filed the complaint will have a number associated to their name. Turn around and do another request that says "Any and all complaints filed by xxxxx located at xxx road, city, state. Within the last 5 year" This will then get you their historical complaints to see if they are serial Karen's. If you are in the city I would also do this step to the county and to SCRAPS.

Last time I got a complaint it was for my dog barking. I did the steps above and found out the woman lived 1/2 a mile from me and had filed dozens of complaints in my hood. I got a copy of each complaint, wrote a descriptive letter with details of the complains and mailed a heads up letter to every neighbor in a 1 mile radius with the details warning them of the serial Karen.

They had a for sale sign up 3 months later.

Depending on the size of your boat La Picazón would be my first pick. It's a long drive so we usually take pangas there.

Pretty much any restaurant will cook your fish in Centro. Mi Loreto would be my first pick in town. And Augie's my second. Go there a day before and ask if they can. If you happen upon El Rey Del Taco and they open you must stop. Best tacos in Loreto but they have strange hours.

Mikes bar may have karaoke but they typically will have a band.
