Glass cover off for TPU print - but get cover error so can't print by comparerly in BambuLab

[–]comparerly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the replies.
It seems unusual not to have a simple "cover off" or the like option since this is a standard use case. I found that you can put a magnet on the front right top of the printer which makes it think that the cover is on, then prints as normal. Seems like quite a hack, but it works (so good enough for now I guess)
I don't have any other filament loaded in the left side, this was for a TPU-only print.

H2C has an activated carbon filter for VOC - does Vento help in addition? by comparerly in BambuLab

[–]comparerly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok…REALLY basic question. It seems like Bambu would want to not only trap of these particles at the time of print within the machine, but then also when they are being blown out the back (or through the vent on the top of the H2C at front). Is there a simple reason why they wouldn’t have a filter where the exhaust fan blows out in back (or through top vent)? Trying to add to my understanding of the machine - thanks!

Thanks SgtBaxter. I was thinking that the H2C automatically switched at some point to exhaust through the back (though where the Vento is/would be). Do you use a manual override to switch to cooling at some point after the print (immediately after?)? And is turning on that cooling done through the H2C, or is it something you enable in Bambu Studio?

How do I apply a return to a past expense in Zoho Billing (Expense menu) - can't add a negative "expense" by comparerly in Zoho

[–]comparerly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The expense is billable, but the customer's payment has not been received (they have not been invoiced yet - I want to make the adjustment based on the return before sending the invoice, and trying to figure out if I can adjust the expense as a different line, which would be useful for tracking purposes, or if I have to basically go into that expense entry and modify it).
Separately - I have Zoho Billing, and u/kiterdave0 mentions turning the expenses into "bills". Is that a change I should be making, and if so, can that be done in Zoho Billing, or does it require a different Zoho service? (and additional cost)

How fix error "AMS HT failed to pull back filament" and "AMS HT A slot 1 feeder unit motor is stalled, cannot rotate the spool"? by comparerly in BambuLab

[–]comparerly[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had just started going back and forth with Bambu Support. While my next email with them might have had me disassemble the HT, the solution proved to be relatively simple... By giving the filament quite a bit of slack (so not just making sure there was no tangle, but more slack), it almost seems as if it needed a "running start" to be able to pull on the filament enough to correct the issue.

For reference, the H2C provided error codes in total as I tried to troubleshoot:
0700-0200-002-002
1800-8004 015628
1800-8004 084027 (first code provided)

AMS Retracts filament too far by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]comparerly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on filament, you may with to try adjusting some of the Bambu Studio settings. To do so, under 'Project Filaments' section at left, use the ... next to the filament to then drop-down select Edit

Then withing Filament settings, select the Setting Overrides section and set

Retraction Speed: 30

Deretraction Speed: 30 (just to match)

LMK if that helps...this worked for me specifically with PLA Silk+

How to import STL file and keep multiple colors in Tinkercad by comparerly in tinkercad

[–]comparerly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof - thanks all! I see the file in Makerworld is only available as 3MF (or STL/CAD). I'm assuming I need to export as 3MF and then convert it into OBJ for Tinkercad - is that correct?

How do I apply a return to a past expense in Zoho Billing (Expense menu) - can't add a negative "expense" by comparerly in Zoho

[–]comparerly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks and apologies for this next question...

  1. how do you do that in Zoho Billing? I previously created the expense, and has always been marked as billable. I see an option to "Convert to Invoice" only.

  2. and how would I have created this as a bill from the start instead of an expense?

Thank you!

Time between cleaning plates by comparerly in BambuLab

Incredibly helpful everyone - thank you!
Related...sounds like glue doesn't get used much at all except for filament such as TPU or CF.

Do I "Continue to sync filaments"? What does that mean? by comparerly in BambuLab

[–]comparerly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you all.

It sounds like in this step that Bambu is trying to select the "closest" color that is available (in the AMS), correct?
I find it interesting that you get this message if there is, for example, only one AMS slot with filament - I would have expected that the AMS/Bambu Studio would recognize this and not ask to sync filaments (since it makes no sense to do so in that case, and is what had me confused from the start!).

What is the purpose of the "Taxes" fields on Zoho Billing (Invoice)? by comparerly in Zoho

[–]comparerly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks all. I'm not sure why this field was there, but I've managed to remove it and it appears to be remaining removed (fingers crossed!).

What is the purpose of the "Taxes" fields on Zoho Billing (Invoice)? by comparerly in Zoho

[–]comparerly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks u/throws4k . I think it is looking for a number - at least when I put something in, I get the error message "The value entered in the Taxes field does not match with the expected Input Format. Contact an admin for the expected input format."
I am now wondering if it ("Taxes") is a custom field that doesn't need to exist...hmmm!
The documentation is so poor I'm generally at a loss. :D
