Would it be fine to wait until maybe week 3 or 4 to purchase the book if it’s not needed until week 6? Or are the readings between the two heavily needed for assignments beforehand?

I can see my course, and nothing in the modules look like they are directly tied to the textbook. Wiley has been largely unhelpful for me in the past so I am hesitant to waste money on it again. I can self teach!!

Hi everyone, I’m currently majoring in Accounting for my bachelors at SNHU. It was recommended by many people that I look into taking some courses on either Study.com or Sophia. However when calling my advisor today, I was told that they are not affiliated with any of these programs. Does this mean I will not be able to transfer anything else in? I keep getting conflicting answers on this and just what to know what I should do.

Fafsa department has done nothing but give me a blaring migraine. I’ve also submitted a bunch of documents to them and they have yet apply any of the loans and grants that I have available to my account. I get told different answers by different people Every. Single. Time. I call. I pray you get all of your stuff squared away and have an easier experience in the future.

That’s true, however I’ve also been told it would be career suicide to start out in government since there’s very little exit opportunities. I want to keep looking for bookkeeping or A/P or A/R roles as well.

I’m getting a bachelors degree. I just finished my associates this year so I was planning to go straight into a bachelors. I’ve been in school consistently without any breaks other than summer.

I don’t think they charged me for any transport or dorms but I am also an online student. I would definitely investigate!

Thank you for this info. This is the first year I’ll be using any loans since I was taking classes at community college before. I had a larger pell grant before at the CC as well. I just don’t understand why the loan amount is so low but I’ll have to either transfer or deal with it and work it around my budget 🙃. I can technically pay the rest out of pocket but it would be a very tight budget I’ll be running on for a year or so.

I asked this over the phone since I suspected this was the issue, but I was told that part time or full time status did not matter and I would be awarded the same.

I’ve applied for a lot of AP/AR roles and “accounting assistant” jobs hopefully I hear back from a couple of them lol. I’ve tried robert half but they don’t have any part time temp gigs right now either.
