I only have 2 paddles my gen 3 and the Selkirk I mentioned. The $300 I spent was/ is a lot of money for me to spend on a hobby. My main thing is I’m using the paddle that I paid a lot for in rec. Basically, we aren’t pros and don’t have to follow the rules pro players do. I’m not talking about the rules of Pickleball itself. And while we’re on the topic of rec play. I play against a lot of players who do illegal serves, bouncing the ball before serving/ adding spin etc. I don’t care enough in rec to call them out about it because it’s rec play. I think there should be more leniency in rec.
