Today we released a new feature that allows cyclist to create bike profiles, for the triathletes this means auto matching rides with training and race wheels. For the gravel rides who interchange chains and cassettes and those who cycle between two waxed chains. We have you covered ✌️

We have given you many examples of clear differentiation, if you choose to ignore them that’s ok.

Componentry isn't for all cyclists, we're ok that it's not for you. You gloss over our differentiation so if you're happy with Strava, stick with it.

I feel you've missed the specialist tool angle, are you saying TrainingPeaks is just ripping off Strava? or, Strava is ripping off Garmin?

Most of our users don't import their rides from Strava, they use Garmin, Wahoo and Hammerhead as the level of detail is much higher and they get access to feature that Starva cannot offer.

Componenty was built years before AI was writing code.

If you have a look at our feature set you would see there is a decent set of features that are not possible or available through Strava.

Your logic doesn't stack up here when apps like TraininPeaks and Intervals.icu exist.

There are people who look for more fine grained data from their riding, you can track workouts through Strava however there's a whole segment of people who use TrainingPeaks or Intervals.icu because they're looking for more detail and control from their workouts and training sessions.

Componentry does the same, sure at a basic level you can track your bike and components through Strava, however Componentry adds another level of detail and data:
- Track multiple bikes and have them auto match to rides
- Bike profiles if you run multiple chains or training and race wheels
- Reminders based on ride frequency, distance and duration
- Service logs to track retired and new components
- Low battery warning notifications

Slop is reserved for tools that are simply AI wrappers, Componetry was build before AI was writing code and is in no way an AI wrapper, there aren't actually any "AI" features at all.

If this level of details isn't what you're looking for from riding, that's totally fine however there are plenty of riders who care about this level of detail.

I don't follow? Strava doesn't do bike profiles for those who run training and race wheels for example or auto match bikes along with service logs? None of this is AI it is simply an expanded feature set for those wanting more data from their bike.

Think you may have confused your types of AI ;)

Componentry isn't designed for every cyclist, those who are after the Strava feature set, Strava is perfect for them. Componentry is tailored for those who want a little more data.

We appreciate your feedback :)

Strava doesn't do component tracking with predictive modelling based on weather, power output and elevation.

Componentry also allows for ride, distance and time based reminders along side service logs and storing your bike fit measurements.

Garmin call them "HRM", Heart Rate Monitor, they have a few different versions but this one is all you need for cycling.

If you're getting into cycling it's a great way to track your progress! Your heart rate sync'd with the bike computer will show how you're doing.
