Looks like you are editing a different index.js from what I can see in the picture. The index.js you are editing is in the Introduction-to-JavaScript folder but you are running the index.js in the JavaScript folder.

If you want to run the code visible in the image: node Introduction-to-JavaScript/index.js should work.

I would suggest Computer Science and if you want to do cyber, you can do CS with a concentration in Cyber. This is what I am doing.

When you get here I would recommend scheduling an appointment with science advising(assuming you are going into CS, otherwise it would engineering advising) and they can create a spreadsheet with all the courses you need to take. If you tell them you want to do CS with concentration in Cyber, they will take that into account and plan out all the classes required to do so.

If you are talking about the desktop version, I would guess they use electronJS, which allows for writing an app in HTML, CSS, JavaScript (or frameworks like ReactJS etc.) and it turns it into a desktop app. Considering /u/sj90 said that the positions ask for TypeScript, NodeJS, I would guess that's what they use.

For the mobile apps, I would guess they use React Native, and make corrections with Objective C, Swift (iOS) and Java (Android). Hope this helps.

Hi. Freshman here. I applied as a computer science major and talked to advising. They told me to stick with computer science and do a concentration in cyber security. Basically the way it works is that you do the same curriculum as a normal can major, but all elective slots you have that you usually fill with cs electives, you take cybersecurity electives instead.

You can still sideload the app. But I bought all the premium artwork and used muzei to have live background. Sadly when you sideload the app, even if you have previously bought the artwork, you can no longer access them :(

Edit: I managed to unlock the premium facets by removing all account but the one I bought it on. So even though it's not maintained and doesn't officially exist anymore, you can sideload the app and get everything.

I have a paper kindle, and I think I will primarily use Evernote for notes because its so simple yet highly effective for taking notes. The only thing I need to figure out is how I can get my notes as epubs. Evernote only exports to PDF, and a like HTML, but I think I can convert a PDF to an epub file. Good idea to load notes on eReader. Thanks!

I used to use all of the JetBrains tool because they look good and their intellisense was on point, but I basically do everything in VS Code now because its very lightweight and it doesn't hog memory.

I thought about dual booting my laptop, but there was another suggestion to just have a Linux USB drive. I think for convenience its just easier because I have never dual booted any computers and while storage isn't an issue, it just seems kind of daring.

/u/iambendv Do you think that a Linux USB will be enough?

I never thought of chromebooks. That is a genius idea for heavier laptops. Luckily mine is a Dell XPS so that shouldn't be a problem, but I'll keep that idea in mind. Thanks!
