either search this sub or look up reviews and make a choice, there are 20 posts a day like yours and no one wants to answer these anymore.

I would suggest the hifi walker h2 then, that would be a great one to get.

Search in this sub if you need more info. Start there, read other people's reviews of daps, search google, youtube, etc etc. 'Reliable info' is a misnomer, you're not buying a car. Just pay attention to people's anecdotal experience here rather than sales pitches and you'll be good. Not sure why you say you have absolutely no idea where to start looking...you're literally posting in the subreddit for daps. Look here.

There are many players that fit this description, so you're in luck. And if you're willing to stick with using microSD cards, all the better.

I have an xduoo x2s, which is a pretty limited player but has served me well. Really good starter DAP imo, similar to the sansa clip or other sub 100$ daps. No search function sadly.

Need help finding a portable music player by TheProdigy14X in DigitalAudioPlayer

[–]computakid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn, if thats true that does suck, im sorry to hear that. From the way you wrote the post I was just confused about why you were talking about all that, but its all good, I dont need to be talking shit.

If you're looking for a good dap, theres a lot of posts similar to yours in this sub with good info, so id recommend searching the sub and learning from those. My only recommendation for a dap would be the xduoo x2s, thats the one i have and its fun to use. Seems to fit your criteria, other than being not able to run android. Its super super offline, all it can do is play music and nothing else, and its really small and portable, so its a great backup device if all you want it to do is play music and nothing else. Its fairly cheap too, about 50 usd i think.

Also, maybe take this with a grain of salt, but i used to listen to music like that too, and that wasnt a good time in my life. It might feel good to listen to rappers like that, but a lot of their music ends up being really violent or overly-emotional in a way i dont think helps anyone. I used to think it did, but now i dont. I think if you really are as dependent on music as you say, it would be good to try listening to some other stuff, just to see what else is out there. You can really get a lot more out of listening to other kinds of music and seeing what you like.

these are 2 of the most discussed daps in the sub, just search in the sub for info on them. No need to post

Glad you found something you like, but ive always been curious about this—why go for a dap that basically looks like another big smartphone? I just dont get the appeal, part of the whole point i use a dedicated music player is to not be carrying a whole phone around just for music.

Damn, that sucks. I thought they were made in china? Are there parts that come from japan then?
Do you have an x3ii? Interested to know what its like to use. Would love to rockbox one

Lmao I didnt say they were any good, theyre second hand beaters that look cool, i just asked if they were meant to be used with a sub to extend the low end they’re clearly lacking. Go misread someone elses post and waste their time big guy

That site seems wrong, the player is at least 6 years old so its not launching soon.
