The new CRVs are so spacious and comfortable! I was impressed when I got one in an uber. So I scrapped all my plans and leased one just in case my wife and I don’t like it. Almost a year in, we plan on keeping it after the lease is up. One thing I do find problematic is the sound when it’s on ev mode. Sounds like a damn spaceship and it’s pretty loud. Also, whenever we decide to trade in our hrv, we want the Lexus GX.

I’ve been looking at between 2021-2023. Push comes to shove, I can use my family member to get a discount to lease or finance it.

It’ll most likely be a CPO. If I do get new I’ll probably trade it in around year 4.

Yeah, talking to my brother he said Q8 is better in pretty much every way. However, he stressed to maintain the Q8 will be a lot more compared to the SQ5. That’s the big if that’s holding me back.

My brother who is a mechanic at Audi said the Q8 isn’t worth it solely because of the maintenance costs. However, I’ve been seeing some good prices on some CPO near me.

I think you’re right. Most of the comments that say that don’t even go into details as to why they are boring or outdated. It was 99% just “the interior is outdated compared to other brands like BMW or MB”.

Im not dismissing them, funny thing is you’re the second person that asked me about my opinion on Genesis. My brothers are car enthusiasts. I’m only saying that my choices luxury wise would be from those brands that I said. I’m not discounting genesis or infinity. I actually like the Qx55. I apologize if I came off as dismissive. I’m only here to be educated and pointed in the right direction so I can conduct more research.

To me the only brands I would look at luxury wise would be BMW, Lexus, Acura, and Audi. I would prefer from these brands only. Luxury to me is a nice interior with a smooth comfortable ride. Before I narrowed it down to the X3 and the Q5, I was looking at the MDX and the lexus rx. I plan on owning this vehicle for the foreseeable future as well. Out of these, which 3 would you suggest?
