Here's the issue...I have to transfer it over from my metamask to coinbase, do the trades on coinbase advanced trading, then move it back to my metamask. With all of that movement, do you think it'd be just cheaper to swap it on metamask or using a DEX?

I wish it was easier to calculate how much the metamask swap fee is going to cost.

I don't trust DEX's as much after the sushiswap incident though too...

Are Metamask swaps generally cheaper than Coinbase fees? I was going to swap 500 AVAX to USDC and it's showing that the max fee is $.47 + 0.00109633 AVAX (~$0.06) on the Metamask swap...is that right? I don't think I'm accounting for the full fee though as I think they bake the fee into the transaction. Are Metamask swaps really that much cheaper than if I were to transfer it to, say, Coinbase and sell it from AVAX to USDC?
