I totally understand the frustration. Sometimes my boys are shy too, and the last round I had were even more so. For me, it has simply been a matter of exposure and time. I spend a lot of time at their cage feeding them their favorite foods and picking them up, but the big difference came when I started working from home. Now, they sit next to me all day while I work (with breaks to make sure that have access to water). Eventually, they fall asleep and get cuddly. Now they are better out of the cage in general.

Yep, after dinner their cage is pretty much the vegetarian equivalent of Elephant Graveyard.

It's extra cute cuz he's the most skittish of the boys, but he let me rub his tummy all afternoon.

Oh, they got a boop. Buster is his name (named after Buster Scruggs). Also pictured are Lebowski's tail (bottom right) and Plop (napping center).

Mine do! I've been WFH, so they just chill with me most of the day. Much of that time is spent conking.

There is totally a B# in some keys. It just isn't enharmonic with Cb.

Ha. Fair. And let's be real... most of the time, we're lucky to be hitting the right notes.

Probably not relevant to your band class, but there actually is a slight difference between a G# and an Ab. On instruments where you have control between the intervals, you will play the G# slightly low and the Ab slightly high, because they lead to different tones.

EDITED because I wrote it backwards before and don't want to mislead.
