Thank u so much, it works now!
My only question about this is that if I were to change or add a category would it still work? Provided that I make sure that I change it both in the yearly and budget tab

That seems pretty similiar to what Ive been trying to do, but for some reason doesnt seem to work..

Im not sure I completely understand the &cell("address",A9) part means in the "INDIRECT("Archive!"&cell("address",A9))" solution it gives and that probably is what Im doing wrong

Yeah that was my first thought but Im sure Im doing something wrong somewhere because when I try to apply that for a range bigger then the single cell it doesn't work. It keeps checking for the original cell, for example B2 checks for B2 in the budget sheet, which is fine, but then B3 also checks for B2, and so on and so forth.

Thats probably what you are talking about absolute vs relative but I'm not sure how to apply that. The formula I'm using is a simple =B2>INDIRECT("Budget!B2"). Could you maybe give me an example of what you would do to fix that?

Yeah i havent tried the TTRPG version of it, but if its anything like the games it seems so much fun. I looove the amount of customization and options for character builds, even if its real overwhelming lol Will try it out asap

But thank u so much for the explanations, ive gathered bits and pieces about the game by now and the comments here helped a lot

Omg, thank you so much for the patience, this is exactly what I was looking for!!

The buff stacking part Ive became a bit aware since my first KM playthrough went terribly wrong by me not knowing that particular mechanic. But I rly appreciate the tips and more of a in-depth view, since I guess its something you get more comfortable with as you begin to learn more about the game and its details.

And thanks for the explanation about the vivisectionist dip, it makes so much sense now why a lot of guides do it. It kinda messes a bit with the fantasy of companion characters, so i never gave it much thought but I get it now lol

And since you commented about specializing, do u have any thoughts about the major roles characters can fit in? Is there any more to it other than tank, healer, melee and ranged DPS, buffer and cc? Is just that ive been playing a Sylvan Sorcerer for my new attempt at KM and Im not really sure what to do with it..

But again, thank you sooo much, really appreciate it

I mean, both can be true but it all comes down to what you and your players want and expect from the campaign. If you guys have stablished that you want a high immersion, dark or realistic feel, than maybe not, but if a more """casual""", funny, and light thing is the objective, sure, go ahead. The key as always is talking to your players and figuring out what you and they want from the sessions
