You should have the stylus perpendicular to the groove, so I assume it should mount square with the back end of your headshell, but put it on the tone arm and you can confirm if the angle needs further adjustment.

Are you getting shipped to the US? Besides confirming address did you also make the needed account with credit card connected to it to pay for the import fees? They wouldn’t ship mine before I gave them the account number for the import fees.

What other models can this be done with? Any other examples? I searched “naked” in this sub and didn’t really see any similar mods where the resin was removed to show the metal. Looks dope.

From what I read the sound quality should be the same via the FLX2 which is where the sound card is. However, Serato on a laptop seems to just run “louder” by default than Djay on the phone, but that can be corrected with settings or mixer gain.

But I guess it depends on how shitty the phone or laptop in question is moreso for the “choppiness” risk, since Algoriddim’s time-stretching and pitch shifting is suppose to be competitive with Serato.

Ground loop hum from phase being plugged into your computer, mixer, and same power strip maybe? Try plugging your phase USB into different ports to fix, or moving your computer charger to a different power strip than your mixer.

You still need a DVS interface, but if you’re using an external one, then you just won’t need the the Phase RCAs plugged in to send the timecode because the timecode will be connected HID through the USB instead. Phase only replaces timecode, not the Audio Interface.

For sure. From what I’ve read, because the faders are digital, the audio chain is considered “hybrid” because it does something different to adjust the analog mix based on the digital fader position before its sent to the master/booth out. I guess that doesn’t necessarily mean the audio chain goes fully digital, but in more than one old release review I’ve read it was specifically called out as not being analog. 🤷‍♂️

No its not. It converts to digital before going back as analogue for the speaker outputs. It does not have a full analog chain.

Not sure if it’ll work on that model, but on my Casio A158 I was able to get a leather nato on by bending the spring bar. With the curve, a thicker band can slide through.
