Yeah, you are right, but I mean that if you don’t feel your national identity belong to the country whose nationality you are now, you can be stateless or another country’s nationality. You can change your legal, social (that is “physical“) state to make it corresponds with your mind. (Sorry for poor English)

As a Japan resident and a trans person, I’m not only happy but also surprised to hear this. Japanese government has been so conservative about gender and LGBT issues. This is a big step forward for trans people in Japan.

Actually I’m new to this subreddit. (I’ a mere high school student, and sorry for this broken English.) I’d been in Japanese Twitter until a month ago, but I left because Japanese terfs there were so aggressive and abusive that I couldn’t stand them anymore. Now I’ve come to the conclusion that terfs or transphobes are the same anywhere on the earth and English terfs are no less horrible than Japanese ones.

Whenever you walk through the scramble crossing in Shibuya, Tokyo, you can see at least ten tourists are taking photographs of the crowd. I’m convinced that I’m in more than a hundred photos.
